Knee Injuries
The knee is a complex joint where the thigh bone (femur) meets the shin bone (tibia). In addition, the powerful thigh muscle (quads) acts through the kneecap bone (patella) to straighten your leg. This in itself places a great deal of force through the under-surface of the kneecap against the groove that the patella sits in. One of the commonest problems I see with knees has to do with pain at the front of the knee relating to the kneecap.
